It is common and recommended to include fields for contact information for the person submitting the form. You can save the applicant time by pre-populating these fields automatically by pulling the information from their User Profile. You can achieve this by placing User Profile Fields on the form.

Before adding these special fields to your submission form, you should decide which fields should appear on your User Profile to begin with.

To add a User Profile Field, click the User Profile button from the left side panel of the form builder.

Select the field from the user profile to pre-populate with.

User Profile fields are denoted by the word (linked) underneath the field name on the form builder.

Enforce User Profile Value If Set

By default, user profile fields will automatically fill in the application with information from the user's profile. If the user later updates their profile manually or through single sign-on, the fields already populated on the form won't update. However, you can change this by checking the Enforce user profile value if set box. This will ensure the fields stay in sync with the user’s profile until the submission is saved and finalized.
