Full text search allows users to search on phrases instead of words. For example John Doe can be searched as "Doe", "John", "John Doe", "Doe John". Previously search phrases that spanned multiple fields would not show complete results.

Full text search also searches plurals and singulars and handles the English language substitutions.

Full Text Search is a bit slower than the default search mode, however you can turn it on and off based on the size and scope of your galleries.

Reach out to your dedicated OpenWater support rep to enable this feature. There is no charge for this feature, however Full Text Search does require activation.

The activation process can take up to 4 hours as the search index is built. Once Full Text Search is activated, you can go to System Settings > System Features and turn it on and off.
