The Multiline Text field is helpful for when you want applicants to submit longer text, paragraphs, or provide them the ability to have advanced formatting.

To add a multiline text field, select the Multiline Text button from the left side panel of the form builder.

Multiline Text fields provide their own field settings. You can specify how large the field is ranging from small, medium, large, or WYSIWYG. WYSIWYG is a large box but also includes additional formatting options for the applicant.
