Think of OpenWater as your Hotel or Convention Center. When you are planning your conference you often have to think about how many concurrent sessions you have going on and will rent rooms accordingly.
Let's walk through this:
Setting up Rooms
When adding Rooms in OpenWater, choose Virtual or Physical + Virtual and you'll see the configuration for Capacity.
Zoom Meetings Offers Capacity of 300, 500 or 1000 attendees.
Zoom Webinar Offers Capacity of 100, 300, 500, 1000, 3000, 5000, 10000 capacity
Setting up Time Slots
Just like a physical conference you will want to setup time slots to place sessions into. Each room can only be used once during a time slot.
As you schedule sessions into Rooms and Time Slots you can get a sense of the amount of capacity you need.
While you are scheduling you can add/remove rooms as needed. Once you are all set you can Activate your zoom licenses. Some Zoom Licenses are included, however if you need more you will be asked to purchase additional licenses prior to activation.
Once you activate rooms, OpenWater purchases a 30 day license to those rooms on your behalf. After you Activate, you can add or upgrade rooms but cannot downgrade. This is a policy that comes from Zoom which OpenWater has no control over.
Activation should be done 29 days before the last day of your event. Deactivation will be automatic the day after your event ends.
