OpenWater does allow you to integrate with your existing Zoom Account, however we do not recommend unless your IT department can give full approval.
Zoom Automation requires admin access to your organization's Zoom account. OpenWater can then automatically create meetings and allow room monitors "barge" in and help out rooms in session.
Zoom Automation also allows us to auto-record and pull recordings back into the OpenWater gallery.
OpenWater charges Zoom fees at cost as such we recommend keeping the OpenWater use of Zoom separate from that of your organization.
When does it make sense to use my organization's Zoom Accounts?
If your organization has a separate Zoom account it uses for events year-round and is willing to provide OpenWater admin access it makes sense to have us use your accounts.
The other reason it may make sense is if your organization gets bulk discounts buying Zoom.
