There may be scenarios where applicants type a number into a numeric field and you would like the price to multiply by that value. This is useful for Conference Registration workflows or other ticket purchasing situations where you ask the applicant to type in a quantity.

A prerequisite for this tutorial is to know how to add a basic submission fee.

To take advantage of this price rule feature, first ensure you have a Number Field on the submission form. In the below example we are adding a field for "How many tickets do you want to buy?"

To finish out this example, in our price rules we will add a new rule for $100 Per Ticket and check the box for Multiply Amount by Field Value. Select the numeric field you want to multiply by.

Click Save and that it's it!
